The Office of Hawaiian Affairs presents Ola Ka Honua this Saturday at the Maui Nui Botanical Gardens. Celebrate Hawaiian cultural practices and engage in lei making with Na Kamehameha Pa‘u riders, makahiki games, kamani nut whistle and cordage making (oeoe) and much more. Keep cool with some fresh sugarcane juice and see more than 20 organizations who will share information and host activities highlighting the benefits of native Hawaiian species and resource conservation. You can also pick up a native plant to add to your home garden. 10am-3pm. Maui Nui Botanical Gardens (150 Kanaloa Ave., Kahului), Mnbg.org
